ryan air/easy jet rules

Just trying to understand the rules. Had it all clear when DC was classified as an infant but not sure how it works now I am paying full fare as the guidance on the sites only refers to infants. Can I take the buggy and car seat free still or do I have to pay for each of them as one item of baggage?

You will have to check the q and a section on each airline website as all are different. My understanding is that usually buggies are carried for free and not part of baggage - not sure on car seats though. We travelled on easyjet last year, paying full fare for DD and took a buggy for free. Would be surprised if Ryanair don't charge for car seat!!

Yes I had a look but didn't quite understand it as it talked about infants only. I suspect they will. Adds up doesn't it. Buggy, car seat, travel cot. Even if buggy is free that is two items before you even get to regular baggage. Annoying for just a couple of nights but what can you do. Thanks

I am pretty sure that buggy is free -I have definately travelled with a buggy with 2 year olds on both airlines.
Not sure about easyjet but pretty sure Ryanair charges for travel cots and car seats of anykind including booster cushions.

Thanks magenta. So that means I should book them as luggage when I book the ticket.
