Do you just stick to drinks and snacky things are pay for main food in there? Someone has just told me its £7 for a kiddie hotdog in Legoland!! I dont want to be lugging loads of shopping around with me but, thats alot of money!!

Its NOT £7 for a kiddie hot dog. Its £7 for an adult one on the outside food stands - they don't do a kids one. Kids MEALS are around £3.50 which includes a drink and an apple. IMHO they're enough for an adult too.

When we used to go to theme parks etc,the
night before I used to make each child a
packed lunch and freeze the sandwiches,so by
the time lunch was due they where defrosted
and fresh, depending on the age of the little
one I would give them a small backpack, and
even pop in a spare Tshirt & undies.(nice &
light)I would carry the snacks and buy
drinks on site.Enjoy !

At Legoland, many people will take a picnic to eat whilst watching the Pirate Show. Such a picnic could consist of anything you like... I've been known to take rice / pasta dishes.
Lugging food around - that's what a buggy is for!

Kids meals in the restaurants are not £7. Haven't brought one for some time, so not sure on current price, though I expect around the £4 mark. Much better to take your own though, as it can get rather busy in the restaurants.

Some theme parks don't let you take in your own food and drinks . . .

Disneyland Paris is one, as we found out - food was confiscated!

that is terrible!! No, we are going on public transport and Im nervous in this heat to take fresh stuff.

Its the drinks that are the real rip off - we try to take our drinks with us. You can pay a non-refundable £1 and get a storage locker to store any stuff you don't want till lunchtime/afternoon.

Am surprised to hear about DLP - we took our own snacks and drinks with us, and no-one stopped us!

LondonMathsMum - seriously?

I was planning to take in shed-loads of stuff. Can't bear crappy fast-food
