I am looking at booking a ski holiday for a family group that will include 15 month old twins and a 9 month old. Club Med advised that they won't book under twos into resorts 2000m+, has anyone got any advice on the dangers/risks?

I would n't. Partly due to less oxygen at altitude, partly because if their ears become more susceptible to the pressure changes on ascent/descent via lifts and so on, parlty because they can be bitterly cold. There are plenty of alternatives with lower altitude base stations.

I would completely agree with LIZS. I live at "only" 800m or around 2600ft (Canadian Rockies) and when we have adult friends and family visiting from their (near enough) sea-level UK locations, they can notice the "thinner" air when they're exerting themselves, hiking, etc, and they definitely tire far more quickly than they would do at home (after any chance of jet-lag still contributing has passed!) I wouldn't hesitate to bring a baby or toddler to our altitude, but >2000m - wow - that's bloody high!!! We live right near Jasper (quite a major ski resort) and that's about half that...
