I have found a taught masters course that I really want to do, it is mostly via e-learning and can be studied part-time over three years. BUT I have 3 DC's all under 5 years old. Am I utterly insane to even consider doing this?

Hi,
I have two girls 4 1/2 and 7.
I'm working at the moment full time, 4 days in the office in London, one day from home. I'll have to continue working, my work involves traveling for 4 days in a row 5 times a year
We work as a team with my husband, so he works from home on Mondays, the girls spent three days a week at the Kids Club after school, we pick them up at 6 pm. So far everything is fine, they are happy and healthy.

I'm considering doing an EMBA (Excecutive MBA).
Doing this means taking our Saturdays, and ask my mother in law or finding childcare for Saturdays for 20 months.
I'm insane? is there anyone that has done something similar?

Marslady I did the same, well almost 4 kids one half way through the degree and I got a 2:1 just wanted to say congrates on your amazing success. I too was so full of joy, was on a high for weeks and now 10 months later it still brings a smile to my face when I think of what I achieve. What you achieved is wonderful - well done!!

I'm studying for a degree.... have been since my kids were 4.5, barely 3 and 7 months.

yes it's mental but it can be done.

although i am looking forward to both the older ones being in school so i can study with a little bit more peace!
