I am planning on going back to college in september to do some courses ready for when DD goes to school and I get a new job, what courses do people look for nowadays? I'm thinking A-levels.

I want to do English Language (AS)
Welsh (cos I live in Wales)

But I don't know what else to do.

I really wanna be a anthropologist (anyone been watching Bones) as I think it would be a really interesting career but don't think i'd be able to fit that kinda studying around DD - NOt to mention i'm prob too old to have too much of a change in career.

Try AS Level human biology, its really interesting and may help a little with anthropology. Sociology is good too

Cheers, I'll look up the prices.

I agree with EM's suggestion, re:Sociology A Level. That may be good for background, if you're considering Anthropology. Good luck with whatever you decide

Don't do A level Human Biology, you still have to do plant stuff (including photosynthesis and environmental biology) and neither if the 3 versions I have taught as as well designed as the level Biology

Do A level Biology

Do you think that at 23 (24 end of the month) with a 4 month old baby and plans of another one within a year, changing career would be an ok thing to do?

If not, please help me choose what I should do to benefit the skills I have already.

Typing & computers
Animals - Mainly horses.
I drive
Music

Can't think of anymore lol. I passed 12 GCSE's A-D.

Maybe just look at your immediate next step before you decide on an ultimate career path. Once you have studied more in depth and got a few A-levels you should be in a position to make a better judgement (BTW there aren't many jobs for anthropologists around so you should probably go for a few other ideas too). So have a look at what you enjoyed at school and what you did well in, unless you are very committed then you should probably think about subjects you got grade B or above in at GCSE.
