Can anyone recommend a reputable companies for work or travel abroad programmes?

Dd graduated last year and has been working this year and saving to go travelling. She’s thinking of Australia and/or SE Asia.

She’s not sure what sort of work she’d do but probably not manual. Would she need a qualification to teach English?

Try asking chatgpt for an initial list of ideas and recommendations?

To teach English you usually need a qualification

Thank you but I’m looking for personal recommendations of companies people have used.

Tell her to do a CELTA course. You can do it full time in a few weeks. Then she will be qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.

Most DC of friends I know get a working visa and then just head to Australia and get a job when they are there with an agency.

One piece of advice from a young lad I know is be very careful with Japanese language schools. Some of them are just foul to their English tutors. He went through an agency but had a miserable time - now has a different job in Japan and is very happy.

Good luck to your DD - hope they have a wonderful time.

Tell her to speak to her course tutors, if she is still in touch, and see if they recommend anything. This is how my dd found her summer overseas opportunity. My ds is potentially looking a doing a gap year overseas through his hobby network.

Also maybe ask any international students she is friends with.
