Dividends and student maintenance loan

I've searched the internet and cannot find an answer so I thought I would ask those who have 'been there, done that'!
DD has applied for uni for Sept 25. We will shortly be helping her to apply for the maintenance loan. DH and I own a Ltd company so I want to check that I am correct in thinking that we put down our PAYE income from other employed jobs, and our dividends as our income from our company job.
It looks so obvious written like that but I just want to check we are doing it correctly. Thanks!

Do you want her to receive additional maintenance or the basic £4.5k? If just the basic you don't need to list any income etc.

You put the amount on your tax return
If its above £60K joint (check amount as I am not 100% sure) then don't bother at all. We just didn't provide any info about our earnings as there was no point

Thanks, I didn't realise that. I thought we had to provide info regardless.

No, DD gave our email addresses as she wasn't sure but when we got the email we both just clicked to say we declined to give info and that was that, she just got the tution loan and the minimum maintenance loan

Great, thanks. Think we'll be doing the same.

you used to put down your PAYE income & then enter dividends on a separate part of the form but they changed it last year whereby they get your income via your NI records from hmrc.

If you have established that your income puts your DD in the 'minimum loan only' bracket , then tell her not to tick the 'I want to borrow as much as I can' box (or whatever the label is). That way, she doesn't have to involve you in the process at all.
