Mechanical Engineer Meng (or Beng) courses

Hello,
could anyone recommend some options for Mechanical Engineering courses (MEng) that would have a standard offer at AAA or AAB please?
I find it difficult to sift through those, as not educated in the UK and I am not otherwise familiar with sciences.
Thank you

A random search suggests Newcastle which is an RG uni in a great city asks for AAB for Mech Eng MEng.

Leicester - a very underrated uni imho - offers ABB for the same qualification.

It's important that your engineering degree is accredited btw - both of these are.

Are you looking at city, campus, do you mind where in the country? There will be many others for sure, these are just the first two I checked.

My DS has an MEng and it was important it was from an accredited Uni for his application to the Institute of Mechanicsl Engineers.

DD had friends studying MEng at Newcastle. It's a great city to be a student in.

DD had friends from the South West, and they used to fly to Bristol to go home for the holidays. Newcastle Airport is very easy to get to from the city as it is on the metro.

Strathclyde has an excellent reputation for mechanical engineering.

My DS did Mechanical Engineering at Nottingham Uni. He loved the campus and the city.

I'd go for the Meng can always change to Beng if grades at the end of the first year not high enough

Equally, most places will let you upgrade to MEng if you're doing sufficiently well. My DS is off to start a BEng next week, and everywhere he applied to advised him to apply for the BEng so he was under less pressure re his grades as it didn't preclude him doing the MEng later anyway. If you apply for MEng and miss the grades, whilst it is likely you you'll be offered BEng if you get the grades for that it can't be guaranteed apparently. Also, DS wants to leave his options open in case he wants to go somewhere different to do a Masters, or prefers an MSc to an MEng when he gets to that stage.
OP, there are lots of good courses with those kind of grades. We're at the opposite end of the country so didn't really look at Universities in the South (DS opted for Strathclyde) but Loughborough would probably tick all your boxes.

Warwick offer a BEng at AAA. The 1st year is General engineering then you specialise in Y2 and get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. If your results are good enough you can transfer to the MEng when you are there. My son is getting some great experience there.
