Hi
Just wondering if anyone has been in the same position as myself. I did 2 years in college to get in to university where I then did 2 years of a nursing degree. I then took a 2 year interruption due to personal circumstances and was due to start back this summer. However, I no longer have support or childcare for my youngest daughter which has left me with no option other than to withdraw.
Uni have said I will leave with a higher education diploma in health and care.

Does anyone know what job opportunities this will give me. I have Googled this but it's only bringing up the course.
Thankyou.

Have you considered social care? You could apply for a job as a social care assessment officer, then later on once your children are more independent, apply to train as a social worker through an apprenticeship scheme with that local authority. They would pay the uni fees and you would still get paid. You may even be allowed to join in the second year of a social work degree apprenticeship course.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I thought I would mention the possibility of credit transfer into the Open University, if you would like to continue with some study from home.
