AP Exams - anyone else based in the US get results today?

So I've posted before about living in the US with UK kids who will be applying to UK universities. Today they got their AP exam results which are taken as A level equivalents. They both did ok in relevant subjects for their intended studies, so I am not sure if they should sign up for more exams (up to 3 more) next May or just take these as their best offering on the UCAS forms.

@BlueSkyHawk Yes, they do have some free time, but it is mostly because they are at an inner city Los Angeles high school that is woefully underfunded this year. They didn't have any free time last year, they were scheduled up to the eyeballs so that they would be competitive for colleges both sides of the pond if necessary. My son wasn't able to take AP French this year because it clashed with his required "Art" elective and my DD wasn't able to take both AP Stats and AP Calc in school for the same reason. She is taking AP Stats thru an online homeschool program called The Blue Tent and the school will allow her to take the exam with everyone else. My son will have a free first period when he starts the second semester in January because he was only required to complete a half year of PE this year. Similarly, DD has PE during 3rd period but will stay on in the class as a "teaching assistant" during the 2nd semester as there are no other options. If we were still on the East Coast where they attended 9th and the first half of 10th grades, their public school had funding for everything and fewer PE requirements. DD would have continued with AP Chinese which her current school doesn't offer at any level, and DS would have had more AP options in the Humanities to pursue. I do think rule of thumb is that as long as the "free" time starts in the 2nd semester of 12th grade it is often considered the norm, wherever you're located. Hope that's helpful!
