DS is cricket-mad and is playing for his school's 1st XI, and has played representative cricket too.

What universities are good for cricketers in terms of ability to play and represent their university?

For context, probably looking for Accounting or Economics with A*AA predicted (might be higher, just waiting to hear).

Probably a preference for campus.

Oxford (and probably Cambridge) is great if you're looking for number of opportunities to play rather than elite sport level. Most colleges have at least a first XI (smaller colleges/PPHs may share). Some run to a second team, though usually not with a full fixtures' list. Choose the college with that in mind. And they each have their own outdoor nets and organise access to indoor nets. Then the university has two men's teams. And a reasonable number of students play for local village sides. So there's a lot of chances to get involved.

That's really helpful, as it's more about opportunities to play than the elite level. Thanks.
