City campus.
Anyone got any tips?
Also what do we need to see in the city?

Either any of the tram park & rides. The forest is closest. Or Victoria centre is in walking distance.
pretty much any of the city centre car parks are within a relatively manageable distance to walk.

Don't drive into the city!! The Christmas Market is on and it will bedlam.

Where are you coming from? Nottingham has tons of park & ride facilities, if coming from M1 side the easiest is phoenix Park which is just off j26

There are others, just Google NET Nottingham and it will give you the locations

Park and ride from Clifton? It's the other main campus, so interesting to see on the way past and 10 minutes into the city.

Have a wander around Hockley as the arty bit and pick up a picnic or something to have in The Park. It's a housing estate built by the Duke of Newcastle in the 19th Century to stop the middle class fleeing Nottingham completely, and full of Victorian fantasy architecture. It links to the caves under the castle (student classic is a drink in the Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem with a beer mat over your pint to stop the roof falling into it). Lunch somewhere like Delilah and a coffee at the Broadway.

Nottingham is a reliably good student city though - between the uni and NTU Nottingham is the city with the largest proportion of students per capita and it shows.

But late to this thread. Did you go and what did you all think? Wink

Liked it a lot more than we expected. It's in a very central location in the city and seems to have great facilities all round. DC is looking at a creative course for which they have a good reputation.
