Apologises if this is the wrong board!
A colleague of mine did business studies in uni.
He told me of an experiment, I believe in a factory, where they kept making changes to the process to optimise performance.
I think he said that trials such as increased hours and decreased hours were done and everything they tried yielded an improvement in results.
The conclusion of the experiment was that focusing on the output /performance was more important than the actual changes made.
I can apply this concept to a few topics, but I can't find the original story.
Does anyone know it please?
