Query - how many of students who work 'all hours' (as was indicated around the reporting of Brampton Manor's success in A-level results and Oxbridge entries) end up working beyond their natural capability (even if very bright) and then, when e.g. doing medicine, realise that that is not really for them or that they can't quite keep up. I worry with the UK and it's very narrow focus on just 3 or 4 subjects at A-level that you don't really always get the super brightest (which I'd want for a surgeon e.g.) but those who are very bright but work like stink to pass exams?
