Has anyone ever made a mistake on their UCAS application

DD realised today that she had put the wrong course down for one of the universties.
She thought she could change it on the online UCAS application. But it wouldn't let her put the code change in. So then dshe thought she should withdrew that couse and put the other one in. It was only after she had withdrawn the course she found out she could not put the correct course in..She emailed UCAS and told them what she had done.I phoned the university but the preson I needed to speak to wasn't there.
Do you think if I phone UCAS,they could sort it out.

What does her school say?

She hasn't talked to college yet. She did this tonight as it says on the letter she got from UCAS of any of the codes were wrong then she had forteen days from the date of the letter to change them. She is still within the fourteen days. It was just that she panicked and accidently withdrew hher application for the course

Just one small tip. Don't phone the university yourself. That's liable to get your daughter rejected out of hand (google "helicopter parents" ...). Get her to do it!

It has all been sorted. I phoned both UCAS and the university myself although she also phoned UCAS. They wer both very helpful her application has now ben reinstated and the university is going to sort out the course the person I spoke to said that several students had accidently aplied for the wrong course.
The reason I phoned is that it needed to be done as soon as possible and she was in college all day, She did do her fair share of phoning before lessons this morning and used up lots of credit. She couldn't phone the university as the person we needed to speak to didn't start until 9.
