My DD is considering a joint honours e.g. QM + Politics or International Relations - does anyone have experience of these degrees and how employable you would be afterwards? She doesn't have a clear idea of what she might want to do.

She has very good GSCE grades and predicated A/A for A Level Maths, FM, Economics, History. Hopefully likely to get offers from good universities. Any thoughts/recommendations about courses would be really useful. She's good at maths but not a 'natural' and unfortunately has been put off economics due to not enjoying A level. Enjoys History, which is the most likely A.

@bestbefore. Thanks for the pointers. Will pass on to my DD as she needs a placement next year. A bit surprised at how low the digital marketing job pays though (32k tops with 2 years experience post graduation in London).

@Piggywaspushed. Sports data science definitely not my DDs thing. However good jobs. My work l(pharma stats) loses graduate trainees to this area quite frequently these days.

@SandyIrvine
These jobs are often attract all sorts of grads. They are not really post grad jobs in the true sense. Digital marketing is not that difficult so it doesn’t pay well. Someone I know is putting together digital questionnaires. Pays £25,000 to start. He’s got a Masters in Politics and Policy but there are loads of these “post grad” jobs that are pretty dead end. The pay reflects over supply of grads.
