DD's school had an assembly last week about degree apprenticeships and it got my DD's attention that she might consider this option. She is doing Biology, Chemistry and Psychology A levels, she is in year 12. I was wondering any of you had experience with DC's doing degree apprenticeship in a science subject

When people talk on here of engineering apprenticeships do they mean engineering that requires lots of physics and maths or some other sort as the DGirl is doing biology and chemistry.
DS did a mechanical engineering degree and did physics every year for 4 years.

The one I know required Maths and Physics (and possibly FM though don't know if that was a requirement or just preferred). The DC in question does a lot of physics/maths sort of stuff but I don't really know the details.
