Bit of backing information
I'm 26, with 2 children ages 2 and 4. Oldest diagnosed ASD, youngest awaiting diagnosis.. both nonverbal
They go to nursery 2 and a half days a week.
I work 38hours a week, 14 hour shifts

..now I really really want to start the open university doing a part time course which is 16 hours a week
Would I be biting off more than I can chew? Or would it be do-able?
Has anyone else done it with small children and a job? Smile or am I just being stupid?

No. I started an MSc while working full time, during two OFSTED inspections and DD was only just turned 2.

Only you can tell if you are capable of managing the workload. I had very good support from DH and compartmentalised my life into work, university and home. As far as possible the 3 did not mix. I also had a very strict schedule e.g. Saturdays until 2pm were mine for study, there was no argument, DH had DD for that time. After 2pm was family time.

Well that definitely makes me feel a little bit better all about structure I think isn't it, making the time etc :)
Thank you very much
