My younger sister has been living with me close to a year. She is eligible for DSA and was co-operating fine with it until her assessment in May which was over a video call and she refused to do it. They emailed to arrange a second date to do it to which she never responded. She has not mentioned it since but I am very concerned about her moving away without it. I’m not sure if she feels the same, I’ve tried a couple of times to bring it up but she tends to change the conversation. Does anybody have any advice on how I can convince her she needs the support. Also, is it too late now and will the best way to contact them through responding to the last email they sent?

There is no rush, an assessment can be done at any point, even when course has started. What adjustments and support is she likely to need? However there may be a delay if she waits.
