Are you going to pick up results with your teen tomorrow/today?

Teen has decided it's deeply uncool for us even to exist to go and get results. Is it just us?

Am I the only one awake and stressing?

My dds logged on to their school account last year and their results were uploaded at 05:30 am. Nobody went into school to collect their results. Although, the school was open and everyone went in to help the students (who missed their offers), with clearing.

Went into college this morning with DD to pick up her AS results as she wanted me to be there. Met up with her mates who also had Mums with them, it was all quite normal for parents to be there.
Back in my day we had to wait for the results of O's and A's in the post.

I'm so glad dd didn't have to go in for her results. Partly as it's a 30 min drive away. Partly because her A* A B B was not what she thought or wanted to get. She broke her heart for 30 mins.... until track came online and she found out she had still got onto her first choice uni.

Gosh how horribly stressful Dr. So glad it worked out.
Have a friend's DD who was tantalisingly close to firm offer, had a remark, no change! She's going to a good uni but she's sad because it's not first choice. Is hard at that age!

I’ve heard of 3 students who missed their Cambridge offers who were rung by their college and asked if they’d like to come. Apparently they were over demanding this year (one had a 3AA offer and has been let in with 2AAA, another had a 2AA offer and has been let in with AAA).
