I have a first class LLB Law degree from a not-so-great university that I obtained when DC's were young. We have a baby on top of school-age DC so DH and I have decided that doing a full time Masters degree would be a good opportunity for me before looking for work as we receive some help toward childcare and DH can support us financially on his wage.
The question is, I have no idea what 'career' I want to go into. I've always liked the idea of lecturing one day so a Masters is essential for those roles but as for a day to day job in between, I've always imagined I'd be office based. I have no interest in being a solicitor or a barrister so any LLM would be thereotically based. I can do the LLM LPC which would give me the legal practice side in order to teach in future but I wouldn't go on to a training contract to be a solicitor iyswim.
So what Masters would you choose in terms of practicality in 'the real world'?
MBA, LLM etc? Is it wise to choose a HR management Masters? Would that accredit me to work in HR?
