Can you not do some form of access course to get you into collage, rather than 'ordinary' A levels?

What A levels would you be looking at, and how would you get round the course work requirements of some of them?

Would you be looking at getting any form of tuition, or would you be doing it totaly alone?

Not sure what the costs are, theoretically you could pay and do the exams at a local school (we have external candedates sometimes)

Can you contact your local school and/ or collage?

Could you not go to college in the evening or anything? I got english lit doing one 2 hour class a week in term time for about 6 months. Not sure of cost it was a long time ago!

i did almost a full year at college doing english lit. media studies, theology and ethics and art, but got pregnant and suffered with6 months of horrific morning sickness so couldnt return, thy were helpful, but i just gave it up.

my ultimate goal is t be a midwife, im not sure theres 'acess courses' for that, is there?

Yes, I think that there are. I know that there are some for nursing that some Mnetters have done.

It would be quite hard for you to do science A levels at home as there are practical requirements involved

I will google for some info for you

I did a few at home, they cost £250 for each one, from the NEC. It was hard keeping motivated, I had to get a private tutor in the end aswell to help with the hard bits (maths!).
