Drawing on your own experiance, give one example of an analogue quantity and one example of a discrete quantity, briefly explaining how you can tell which is which?

Dp is doing a computer course, and this is one of the quastions. Can anyone help?

Analogue quantities are things like 3 cups of milk. Discrete is something like 3 apples.

If this makes sense?

Thankyou yes it does.

Is this because you can pour some milk out and it would still be a cup of milk, but you can take bits of apple away and still call it an apple?

scroll down a bit for analogue vs discrete

Sorry, it's analogue vs digital but it does talk about discrete as well

Got it, thank you.
