I was chatting to a friend about this today as i wanted to be a nurse since i left school (unfortunately paid supermarket work seemed like an easy option to earning my beer money). She recently asked me if i looked further into this and i havent because i couldnt afford to leave work but she was telling me they fund you to do it? Is this correct? I've tried to look on the website but ended up downloading 85 pages about bursery which i have no idea what it means! I would be really interested in doing it if i could afford to does anyone have any info / easy to read links?

Thank you

You can no longer do a Diploma in nursing, it has become a degree only subject.

It is an NHS funded course though, as long as you are a British national and you are accepted for a place at Uni, course fees will be paid and you will then get a bursary depending on your circumstances.

That is of course, unless the new government change it all before you get in.
