Baby seat for play

My twin boys (7 months) are definitely outgrowing the bouncers but haven’t quite mastered sitting up yet. They want to, one more than the other, but just haven’t got the balance quite right.
I’ve seen the Upseat but it’s £90 and obviously I need 2. Even second hand in my area, people are selling them for £50+ so that will still cost me for something they mightn’t even use for that long.
Is there a seat recommended for posture that isn’t going to break the bank when I have to buy two?
Thanks!

Prop them up with cushions.

It will also help them get used to moving about and then crawling etc if they aren’t strapped into a seat.

Just keep them away from sharp edges

They don’t really stay upright enough to do that . Twin 1 does about 20 seconds, twin 2 about 5 seconds. It’s not that easy juggling two babies who keep falling over when I’m on my own. There is no time to play, it’s literally propping them back up over and over again until one (or three!) of us have had enough.

Do they need to be sitting up? Are they happy on their fronts?

It seems a lot of money for something that will be useful only briefly and stop them moving about.

Just leave them on the floor? I never sat my dd up and she learned how to get into the seated position herself.

They will probably not use the seats for very long so I'd be reluctant to buy them now.

Neither of them like lying on the floor for any period of time. They like to be sat up. One will tolerate tummy time but the other won’t as much. They will tolerate it better if I’m there but sometimes I need to do other things.

I’ve seen the chairs that convert to toddler chairs or the ones that you can attach to a dining chair to use as a booster, so they’ll last longer than a few months. I was hoping for some recommendations for those kinds of things. Something that will support independent sitting.

But quite honestly, I just need something that they can sit in for 10 mins without crying while I quickly go upstairs, get dressed, and brush my teeth. Because every morning I have to listen to them distressed because I need to go for a wee.
