Are Baby Bjorn bouncers worth the money?

^ as title says, really.

My daughter doesn't particularly enjoy her ingenuity swing, I suspect because it has her laying too flat for her liking. I'm desperate for somewhere to put her where she can be safe and happy so I can have a shower for slightly longer than 30 seconds. Grin

Hello,

I was debating this exact thing mainly due to price but I really think they are and haven't met anyone who has said otherwise tbh. They're super comfy and lightweight easy to wash etc. My baby was very sicky but fine after a feed in her bouncer, we used it until she was 8 months but I know people who have used them beyond this.

I don't think you'll regret it.

Nightmanagerfan · 16/02/2020 22:46

My baby hated his, so I think it depends!

knittedgoldfish · 16/02/2020 22:47

We love ours but why not buy second hand off ebay? They are completely washable.

PickleBottomNo3sMum · 16/02/2020 22:47

Yes yes yes, my baby used it until she was cruising and now she’s nearly walking we’ve turned the cover round and she bounces in toddler mode - she loves it even more now!

bookmum08 · 16/02/2020 22:49

My daughter's bouncy seat was probably the most used piece of baby equipment we had. All the threads on here about people who can't put their babies down to do anything - I always say get a bouncer. It is somewhere safe and comfortable to sit in and watch the world go by.

NameChange30 · 16/02/2020 22:54

Yes definitely. Good design, washable, folds flat so easy to store and you can even sling it in the car boot for trips away.

Musseswoofles · 16/02/2020 22:55

I couldn’t have lived without ours. Sad to part with it but donated to a friend who is due who will be its fourth owner (at least!). I bought it off fb marketplace from a lady who’d bought it locally from another mum. I ordered another cover which was a good move when ones in the wash. Look out for a second hand one for sure.

LillyBugg · 16/02/2020 22:57

Yes. I bought mine second hand and sold it for the same price 4 years later. It did my two boys and a friends son as well. They are brilliant!

PickleBottomNo3sMum · 16/02/2020 23:11

Agree, best to buy secondhand as they are way overpriced new.

We’ve also got the BabyBjorn high chair which is ace - thoroughly recommended it.

WeDontTalkAboutLove · 17/02/2020 00:33

Right, I think I'm going to give it a go! Will try eBay first.
Thank you everyone! Flowers

God yes! My baby loves it! I’m just sad that they are nearly sitting unaided so will have to remove the bounce as it says it can’t be used once they are sitting.

JanewaysBun · 19/04/2020 16:25

Love it but buy 2nd hand !

ronniemipperton · 19/04/2020 16:29

My 11 week old adores hers - she also absolutely loves the toy bar, so I’d recommend getting one of those if you can find one second hand (they are also stupidly expensive new for what they are, though ours has provided so many hours of entertainment it’s arguably worth it).

Hello, I’m FTM wanting to buy a babyBjorn bouncer. I’ve been looking at them second hand and wondered if the material retains its shapes and support? Some of them look baggy second hand and some look ok. I just don’t want to put my baby in it when he arrives and it not be supportive

RandomMess · 24/01/2021 23:31

Even if baggy it would be supportive because of the actual shape of the seat. It's kind of triangle shaped so the head is supportive.

You can buy new covers and keep the other as a spare for washing?

Pantsomime · 24/01/2021 23:33

Yes and sell well on eBay, same for the high chair
