She sat at the table drawing this morning and said 'mummy, i've written a song for you', so i said 'ooh, how lovely! sing it!' so she sang

Twinkle twinkle little star, you have farted in my car.
Twinkle twinkle little star, you are wearing daddy's bra.

Well. The rhyming is spectacular no?

Boco, I was stalling at reading this thread as I feared it would be just another wannabe. How wrong could I be?
I love the intrinisic symbolism of the car (possibly representing DD's personal space) adnd her palpable irritation at the star's intrusion, which she likens to a fart.
In fact, I wonder if I may venture to suggest that the couplet is in fact a thinly-veiled attack at the celelbrity culture of today's society??

Please, keep us informed of any future work by this prodigy.

Boco · 20/01/2008 19:01

Well, she has written a rather simple little verse this evening.

Kayleigh

You cud shave me.

omg I thought it said Kylie at first, and wondered whether she had been channeling my rude pregnancy dreams

Blandmum · 20/01/2008 19:04

Rustic elements in this mighty work. the juxtaposition of the cow chewing the cud and the flighty bee, belies the initial simplicity.

Boco tey just never stop do they. Filthfilthfilth

Boco · 20/01/2008 21:29

I did ponder your dream franny - whether you actually were having dreams about being shaved by Kylie Minogue, but I really didn't know what to say for the best.

These two are like those neighbours in the Fast Show - did you ever see it - they're always shagging even as they call round to borrow sugar or mow the lawn or give advice on severely gifted poet children, just compulsive behaviour I'd say.

Are you going to start a portfolio of her works Boco?

FrannyandZooey · 20/01/2008 21:36

yes LOL I do remember the Fast Show copulators

speaking truthfully I have not yet had a dream about being shaved by Kylie Minogue but I do feel it is one to keep for a rainy day so to speak

Boco · 20/01/2008 22:16

I think I should start a portfolio really MB, that's a good idea.

I could also add the picture of two butterflies talking, and one is saying 'want to mek frens?' and the other one is saying 'I am not meking frens with you, here are my frens, i alreddy hav sum frens, noway'. It's on the wall and me and dp often read it out with Mexican accents, not sure why.

Franny, I shall think about you when it rains you weirdo.
