Insanely Dry skin?

After getting massively burnt last weekend, my skin, especially on my chest and shoulders is red, sore and peeling. The areas that are peeling are very shiny and dry and nothing seems to be working. I've been using aftersun, and now its peeling, vaseline intenstive care for hands, the oil free moisturising cream from fake bake, and cocoa butter. Minutes after its soaked in, the area is just as dry.

Is there anything else I can use? or just keep applying it every 10mins?

(And yes, I know how damn stupid I've been. I had suncream on but not nearly enough and I was in the sun far too long, but this is the first time I've ever been burnt)

I've had very dry and sore skin of my hands. Pharmacist recommended aveemo - I have the hand cream but there are body lotions etc. Seems to be good.

Try 'Unguentum M' cream from Sainsbury's pharmacy. Boots and others also sell an unguentum cream but I find that the one available from Sainsbury's is by far the best.
