I wondered if anyone else gets this. The last couple of days I have been really kind of highly strung - feeling very tense, and having vivid dreams, and being uncomfortable like a low level period pain type of thing.

Then yesterday I sudden;y felt very sick, a couple of times, like when you're pregnant - it goes away again but is quite unpleasant and unpredictable.

I wondered if there's something I can do about all this - I think I have an oestrogen overload at the moment. Maybe it is because I'm still bfing ds2? Could that be a factor? My periods have been great lately, no pain, no warning and not too heavy.

So it's th opposite of what I used to have, ie no ovulation symptoms but painful periods.

Would taking some kind of pill help, do you think?

Thankyou very much for any answers or thoughts.

Hi

There was a thread on here a while back - "dizzy" and had a few similar things in.

I posted saying that I felt sick, hot, shaky and dizzy around the time of my periods, a few days before. I do have endometriosis too, that may contribute.

I'm not on the pill as hormone treatments hate me, I turn into an evil biatch of the highest order so stear well clear!

I do take supplements, EPO, eat lost of greens etc but mailny just put up with it. I do get low level period pains two weeks before I actually come on though.....

Will watch this thread.....

Thankyou for taking the time to answer...sorry you are having problems too.

I wondered about EPO to balance things out but have no idea if it works.

No worries.

My mum and nan both had terrible issues with their periods and both had a hystarectomy (?sp) in their early thirties.

I'm better on EPO than not. If you do give it a whirl, it takes a about 6 weeks to kick in.

I used to have a fantastic GP - we've moved area - and he was so understanding. I often went to see him and tried plenty of pills/hormone treatments but none really helped. I have been under a gyne too (so to speak!) and they discovered the endometriosis.

I'm hoping a new treatment Boots are developing will help.

Maybe go and speak to your GP?
