When am I likely to see an improvement? What's it going to feel like - does everything just get gradually better, or is it faster, slower, what? I'm so eager to return to my earlier self!

PC - I started 4 weeks ago. I certainly feel less tired now and am sleeping better, also skin a bit better (was very dry and crackly). Still unable to shift extra weight, still have croaky throat and grotty hair! Not sure if my dosage is quite right yet, but I'd say regarding fatigue, you may start to feel some improvement after about 2-3 weeks.

So I'd say from my limited experience so far that it may be fairly gradual regarding improvement on all fronts. The improvement in tiredness has made me feel so much better - and quite a few friends have said I am looking much more like my old self, so improvement is noticeable. Hope you are feeling much better soon

2-3 weeks -I don't know whether that's ages or soon! I was bracing myself to hear "months"

What do you mean by "grotty hair"?

My hairs very dry and feels a bit coarse . And rather 'tufty'.

I think you will def. start feeling better in weeks not months. I Hope so - as I say, not an expert I'm still in early days myself

I suppose hairmight take a long time to improve, given that what's there already is dead, and only the new growth will have been improved by the added thyroxine. Mine's gone frizzier and lifeless, but I had assumed that was just ageing - I didn't realise it might also be improved by thyroxine!

Oh this is so exciting!

My GP is not 100% sure it is a thyroid problem. We're trying things out ATM. Please god let it be a thyroid problem!

Delighted to hear that you're imropving.
