red itchy/sore spots

Woke up yesterday with red tiny spots over my hands and feet (a few on my palms), which have got a lot worse today. One ulcer on side of my tongue too.
I thought it was heat realated but it's not boiling and I always try to stay inside when it's really hot.
Looked at google images having typed in the symptoms and it looks exactly like hand, foot and mouth disease.
Any adults had this? I know it's less common in adults.
I guess my immunity is quite low as have had bad cold and cough for the last 2 weeks.
I'll pop to GP tomorrow but just wondered if it sounds like it?
The spots are tiny but grouped lumpy sore spots. I have 2 on the undereneath of my index finger that are really sore. The ones of back of hands and toop of feet are really itchy.

I had hand foot and mouth same time as my son. I'd suggest going to the doctors to get it confirmed. Then pain killers.
You have my sympathy as the ones on my feet just felt like walking blisters, but the ones on my hands were really irritating, as you don't usually get blisters there. Be careful with the mouth ones, as they can be nasty if they get infected.

However if they are itchy....it could be an allergic reaction. Have you taken anti-biotics in the las month? If so definitely see your doctor, and get it put on your record.

thanks MT - no - haven't had anti-b's for well over 2 years!
I don't seem to have any on the soles of my feet either so only sore/itchy to touch on the top of my feet. Have had infected eczema between my 4/5th baby toe for about 3 weeks and wondered if the infection had caused something else but don't think it's very likely.
Will defo go to GP then and get his opinion.
