Cot Eating

My little girl is nearly 2 and has been a very late teether. Unfortunately she now seems to be getting most of them all at once and has recently started eating the end of her cot - and I mean eating, big pieces of splintered wood are missing (ditto her chest of drawers). Her cot has the usual teething rails on the sides but nothing on the curved ends. Can any of you offer any advice on what I can safely cover the end with before she ends up with embedded splinters ?

She shows absolutely no interest in standard teething rings etc but will chew her toothbrush 24/7 if allowed !

What a problem! I'm not sure about this, but if I was in your shoes, I might try binding the ends of the cot very tightly with some strong fabric. Canvas strips or tough ribbon wound round and round. Something that will form a barrier to the wood, but won't easily tear or pull away under the onslaught of determined gums. Good luck!

Thanks ! The nail stuff seems to have helped, although 3 of the 4 molars have emerged during this week so I guess she'll feel less uncomfortable now (the rest of the family certainly do cos we've had 2 nights sleep in a row !)
