dd1 saw the specialist today, he prescribed a stronger cream for her as fuciden H was not working, and it was causing more problems. but this new cream, he has advised to wrap her legs in clingfilm after applying it before she goes to bed. has anyone else had to do this? i didnt catch the name of the cream, and as doctors handwriting is always bad, i couldnt read it, and the pharmacy wont have it in till tomorrow at the earliest. surely the clingfilm will make her itch more, but at the same time the cream will be absorbed better. dunno how i feel about this treatment actually, if it works then thats gonna be great, but if it doesnt then its another load of cream to add to the pile of ones that havent worked.

COuld be Fucibet, that is what we get for bad patches. IT contains Fucidin (an antibiotic) and betnovate which is a stronger steroid than hydrocortisone. We havent used clingfilm but it must wirk on the same principle (sp??) as wetwraps. Hope it helps, let us know.
