Ladymuck · 05/07/2005 22:21

Have you taken her temperature? Has she shown signs of being poorly? And how old is she? There is a vomiting bug about atm, horrid but not at all serious.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/07/2005 22:22

11 months.

sorry don't want to be alarmist - but you're obviously v. concerned.

hercules · 05/07/2005 22:22

Get on the phone, Jessica.

MistressMary · 05/07/2005 22:22

Nhs direct love

Good luck.

WideWebWitch · 05/07/2005 22:23

If you're worried call nhs direct. If she's just sweating maybe she's fighting something off.

WideWebWitch · 05/07/2005 22:24

With no other symptoms I doubt there's anything serious, really, but they will be able to reassure you. Sweating alone isn't usually serious. I'm no expert and all that but hoping to help you feel calmer!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/07/2005 22:26

just done temp again, 36... cool.....

she isnt unwell in herself, just a bit concerned that she is cold and sweaty..... will see how she goes and if things change ill call nhs direct

Not sure that this helps but IME NHS Direct are always over the top in their response (ie better safe than sorry). So don't feel too worried even if they say something like "go to casualty" - it is still often not a big deal. They had me call an amubulance when ds2 had croup...

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/07/2005 22:27

sweating in her sleep.

OP posts:
MistressMary · 05/07/2005 22:41

Sweating it out hopefully.
Just keep on with fluids and if you are worried go with your gut instinct Jm.
