Hi all,
hope you've all had a lovely Christmas, we had lovely time until we went to my Mams on boxing day. My young nephew (aged 1) had dioreahh (sp) and obviously we ALL picked up a tummy bug and have been sick since.
Me, dp and eldest dd (8) are ok now but little ones ,dd2...age4 and ds......age3 are still vomitting, lying on settee asleep at the moment
Now i'm not worried about it, it always seems to hit them harder but this is the third or fourth bad bout this autumn/winter and dp said do we need to be doing something or checking out why they're always sick? THAT made me worried.
DS started nursery in September and i put alot down to that but is 4 bouts of sickness worrying? (They also has swine flu which we were all ILL with)
So, any opinions on what's normal and should i be worried about the bigger picture?

can only add that hand washing for all the family is essential- with hot water and soap as soon as you come in from shops, school, nursery etc.
You should also wash door handles, the loo seat and loo flush/handle as it gets very buggy!

Clean towels, 60 C hot washed every day once you have a bug, and each person keeps their own towel.

I've decided to see my G.P soon and ask her what the best drops would be to disguise in a drink (pickiest eater ever dd2 so i wouldn't get vitamins in her) as i am so worried about all the bugs they can't seem to fight off.
I have never had the washer off, (60 degrees lately) and have been watching them wash their hands. This morning i've bleached the bathrooms and also sprayed every door with dettol.
Only thing i haven't yet done is seperate towels of their own.
Good idea!!
