'Drunk' feeling in head

That's it really. I've had it 60% of the time in the past week. And no, haven't drank alcohol or taking any meds.

It's a horrible woozy feeling like when you've drank to much and you lie down and the room is spinning. But i can have a normal conversation etc. Doesn't affect speach or walking or anything. It's just in my head. Any ideas??

This feels much worse today. I'm actually struggling to look after a baby and toddler. Gp has only got appointments next week. Not sure what to do..

stars - I dont know! Usually by the time I am at hosp with it I am almost on the floor, crying and can hardly stand/see. WHen they say I need an injection (its always on the bum) I am like fine no problem and I am offering them my bum

I think its just a higher dose of same sort of stuff antidizziness stuff.

I usually take betahistine dyhidrochloride for lab.

I get this too, started about 15 yrs ago, lasts about 10 day a time. Turned out mine was menieres disease. If you have this then I hate to say there's nothing they can do about it. A few tips for dealing with dizziness; when walking keep you head in line with your neck, move your body to look around, not your head; when you stand up give yourself a second to get stable; always make sure you have a wall nearby should you need support.

Do you have any travel sickness tablets? These used to help me. I also had stemetil, but that was from the doctor.
Some people find antihistamines can help too apparantly, didn't work for me though, so may have been misinformed there.

I get dizzy when I'm stressed/anxious/overworked/tired and trying to hold everything together. A baby, a toddler, sleep deprivation...sounds like you're pretty stressed.

I'm not saying it's NOT labyrinthitis or anything else, just that it could also be a physical response to stress.
