Cause I know I am.

I'm taking Zirtek, Beconase (sp?) and eyedrops and still feel crap basically. Anyone come accross a miracle cure yet?

And is it just me or do you have a nose full of horrible bogies that cling to the lining of your nose? Sorry if TMI!!

I bought Boots hayfever relief eyedrops and they work for my DD - maybe try them or get them from the doc if you can get free prescriptions. About £4 I think.

Interesting indeed! - at work at the moment but will be whipping out the vaseline as soon as I get home

littlerach · 22/06/2005 11:25

You are supposed to eat local honey as the pollen will supress your allergy. I don't know if it works, and I don't like honey!

handlemecarefully · 22/06/2005 11:28

Yuck! me neither...

Guardianangel · 22/06/2005 11:28

Guardianangel · 22/06/2005 11:29

handlemecarefully · 22/06/2005 11:30

Guardianangel · 22/06/2005 11:31

KBear · 22/06/2005 11:40

I think people that buy zirtek and other brands are being robbed - just a tip!

Guardianangel · 22/06/2005 13:41

desperatehousewife · 22/06/2005 13:52

Mine is waking me up at 4.30/5 every morning. Either that is or my child is...grrrrr.

Mine is worst at night and first thing.

I am considering accupuncture for it - i have heard people swear by it.

I'm so fed up of sore, itchy eyes, constant nose blowing and knackeredness. Humph.

bambi06 · 22/06/2005 16:08

the dr gave me a nasal spray that i swear is the best called flixonase..it works for me ( and the dr.).well it did but now i`ve run out and all hell has broke loose and i dont even usually get hayfever at this time of year so whats going on?!!!!!!!

Guardianangel · 22/06/2005 18:46

Grrrrr. Get your Vaseline out!!

KBear · 22/06/2005 21:20

guardianangel - do you own the company? you do feel strongly about this!

desperatehousewife · 23/06/2005 08:22

GA, do you use a cotton bud to put the vaseline up?

Guardianangel · 23/06/2005 09:29

Yes or tip of finger, but cotton bud is best.

Gem13 · 23/06/2005 09:31

I am suffering with DH.

He told me this morning to say that 'Vaseline is not working'.

Guardianangel · 23/06/2005 09:36

Has he coated the inside of his nostrils thoroughly? Its no good just putting it on the rims of his nostrils. Only other explanation is that he has got his gob open too much letting the pollen into the system that way. I bet he wont like that answer eh!

lolliepops · 23/06/2005 09:41

mine is shocking i used to get the injection but havnt had it for a few years now. i am off to the docs this afternoon to get some tables, nasel spray and eye drops. my chest also ends up so tight i also need an inhaler, i dread the summer every year i pray for winter i only hope dd doesnt get it does anyone know when it normaly comes out in kids?

i dont understand how we can transplant hearts but cant find a bloody cure for hayfever!

Gem13 · 23/06/2005 09:50

I shall make sure he does it properly GA. Fortunately he's working away from home today.

lemonice · 23/06/2005 10:49

this is intersting I see fio says she doesn't have it a sbad this year and that is the same for me this is the least I've had for years just a bit of itchy eyes, (normally have the whole lot itchy palate, ears etc etc)but

dd has it worse than ever and has had to get an inhaler which she hadn't used at all for a few years...I will tell her about the VASELINE

spidermama · 23/06/2005 11:48

I accidentally cured lifelong asthma by cutting out wheat and dairy 7 months ago. All dust and dog allergies disappeared too, but sadly the pollen's still getting to me and I'm itching and snuffling really badly today.
