Hi,
Am at the end of my tether! My ds2 is 6 weeks old and has colic and reflux. Nothing the doctors has suggested is working, has anyone tried cranial osteopathy and if so did it work and if it did can anyone recommend one in Surrey?!!
Thanks a million!

Can't recommend one, but my daughter had it (osteopathy - 1 session!!!)) and it worked a treat

Good luck

ds2 had it for his terrible wind problem and it made a big difference. he was straining constantly and only pooed once every five days or so and was causing him distress. Now he does one every other day and there's much less straining and he seems a lot calmer. we're in london though so can't help with a name, but if you can make a trip here, there's a fantastic place called OCC that only does children and it's a charity so if you're strapped for cash they don't charge.

Cranial osteopathy is very useful for babies with problems following birth for example colic, reflux, constipation, and flat heads following difficult births, and a qualified children's osteopath should also look at the possibility of food intolerances. To find one in your area just type a search for "children's osteopath" then your town. There are some cranial osteopaths who are postgraduate qualified paediatric osteopaths. The "Sutherland Society" website is useful for information on cranial/paediatric osteopathy. From experience osteopathy is also useful for learning difficulties and physical (muscular) problems.
