Findings: Linear hyperintensity within posterior medial meniscus could represent intrasubstance tear. Lateral meniscus appears normal.
Cruciate and collateral ligaments, patellar ligament and quadriceps tendon are normal.
Small marginal patellar osteophytes. Lateral narrowing of femoropatellar joint space and chondromalacia patellae grade 2. Subchondral lesion seen at femoral trochlea.
Small joint effusion. Discrete prepatellar bursitis.
Conclusion: Impression for intrasubstance tear of posterior medial meniscus. Lateral narrowing of femoropatellar joint and chondromalacia patella grade 2
Recommendation: Specialist referral is recommended
