Sorry, it's me again. You remember that thread I started about having jelly for legs? My arm seems to have gone really weird. NHS direct are a bit useless. What would you do?

It's coming and going, it's like jelly too, very little co ordination. I did call NHS direct yesterday as my ankles were going numb and had a cold/tingly feeling going up my legs and into my feet. The numbness was a new symptom, the nurse didn't appear to have heard when I said this and said to call back if my feet went numb . Is it worth leaving until Tomorrow when I can see the GP or does it need looking at now?

Thankyou.

Hi Fluffy, I'm no doctor and i didn't see your other thread but i'd just like to say that when i'm really stressed out, especially when i don't know i am iyswim then my fingers go numb and my arms tingle. It's always a sure sign to me that i need to relax and calm down. Are you stressed at the mo?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 04/05/2009 20:37

Nope. I've had it all day. I have been referred to a neurologist as I have symptoms of MS. The hand doesn't want to type or be controled at the moment. It's coming and going though.

That sounds quite scary Fluffy. Do you think a trip to A&E would help tonight - there will be alot of piss heads on a bank holiday - or see your GP first thing?

Sorry if my stress stuff seemed trite.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 04/05/2009 20:53

It's OK, stress can do loads of weird things. I'll wait to see the GP tomorrow or wait until Wednesday, I have a private appointment with a neurologist that I have not cancelled yet, I may just pay and go rather then wait a couple of weeks for a NHS appointment. It's getting late to drag ds out now.
