Last night I started suffering with terrible stomach cramps which felt like contractions, they had me in tears.

For the first few times I couldn't go
then, after a few times every time I went it was like passing water. This went on until about 11pm.

Today I have got up and come to work and generally feel out of sorts, I have headache (but not taken anything as I feel sick) etc and I'm sooooooooooo tired. I don't feel that I need to go home as I have lots to do, but can take it relatively easy

All I have to eat at work at present are fresh orange, dried fruit and nuts etc. I think I need something so that I can take some paracetamol.

Would a cup of tea line my stomach enough?

You need to go home. Sounds like you have a tummy bug.

You will be passing it around everyone.

You need to have a sleep.

Is there milk to go with the tea? Can you drink some of it? I find that acts more like 'food' IYSWIM. Or g out to a sandwich shop.

Are you pregnant? Or is it AF-related? Or neither?

You should definitely make sure poeple know that you feel lousy, so they won't hassle you too much and if you do need to go home later they'll understand.

Go home, it could be a tummy bug or it does sound like how i get with IBS, go home and rest .

Thanks for your replies everyone.

My stomach isn't cramping or anything today and I've not 'been'. I just generally feel very lethargic. The girls in the office know I feel crap and are being great, but, I can't go home as I am the supervisor and there is no-one else at the min (one of the girls is new)

Funnily enough it is AF time at the minute, but, I have never experienced this before on this scale. I am not pregnant though.

I have a cup of sweet tea now and I'm sipping it. I'm going to give it another hour or so I think.

Is there a comfy chair in a quite office that you can go to, you can 'supervise' from there and just let people come to you if they really need you. If you make it clear how bad you feel you might be surprised at how well they manage on their own.

I might just do that. Thanks for your help everyone.
