I don't know if you should be worried, it sounds most unusual. You really should phone NHS direct.

norktasticninja · 15/04/2009 20:27

Are you OK TooTicky?

TooTicky · 15/04/2009 20:38

Thanks. I am sort of hoping people will say I should just drink lots of fluids and everything will be fine.
Feel just a little cystitissy as well

Hmm

I get that thirst thing when I drink sweetened water, ie that fizzy sugar free stuff from Tesco or whatever. I take half a bottle of that to bed and wake up dehydrated, something to do with the chemicals I think. Really goes through you.

Other than that perhaps you have a bit of sunstroke?

LadyOfWaffle · 15/04/2009 21:12

Are you drinking water?

TooTicky · 15/04/2009 21:18

Sunstroke? I think not...

I am drinking non-tea tea, so as good as water really. It is non-stop!

Is it coming out the other end OK? Any stinging? Colour?

Rhubarb · 15/04/2009 21:21

Kidney infection?
I would call your GP. If you don't want to bother them, ask for a callback. The GP can call you up and listen to your symptoms, if they think it's serious enough they'll make you an appointment.

TooTicky · 15/04/2009 21:27

Thanks.
I don't seem to be weeing as much as I am drinking...

Not been abroad, had any insect or animal bites?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 15/04/2009 21:31

The stinging is cystitis. It sounds like a UTI/kidney infection to be honest, keep drinking to flush it out. It sounds like you have a fever and are dehydrated which is what's making you thirsty. I'd give NHS direct a call.

TooTicky · 15/04/2009 21:33

No, nothing like that muffle.

Perhaps I woll just flush and flush and see how it is in the morning.

Thanks all.
