Just noticed my breasts are leaking the teensiest amount of milk. Stopped bf nearly 5 years ago, never noticed this in all that time!

relactation is possible, esp if you bf for a long time, shouldn't think is anything to worry about but check with doc if you are worried

BF for around 18months but DD is now 6! Have just been on antibiotics for the first time in ten years, wonder if it is related.

How bizarre. But your post just made me remember I had a dream last night about producing milk. Sorry for the hijack!

Bumperlicioso · 13/04/2009 10:35

Ooh, glad it's not just me who still gets tingly boobs! I couldn't tell if I was imagining it or not...

I have been around my cousin and her fairly new BF baby but then I am a volunteer BF supporter so I am often around tiny babies.

I know I'm not pg as I haven't had sex since before last period.

Interestingly when my Ma had a mastectomy in her 50s - she leaked milk from the side where the breast was removed. It was 25 years since she'd finished bf, but apparently, not uncommon.

I have one of these which caused spotaneous lactation when I was 17 and childless. That was in large ammounts though, so probably not the same thing. If it becomes an annoyance I would go to the doctor.
