I used to wear these (swimming/showering/all day most days)then discovered that Boots premium lenses were just as good and miles cheaper. HTH

Yes, you can (btw my prescription is still the same price at Boots, am v shortsighted).
I wear mine to swim (swim about 2/3 times a week at the moment) and running/gym etc, they have changed my life.
Agree, though have a shop around as you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

Thank you!!

I think these are the best - but are the most expensive but can get better prices shopping around. Yes to swimming and exercise - never have a problem with them worn them for years.

I regularly go swimming with my one-day contact lenses in and have never had a noticeable problem.

I buy SpecSavers own-brand lenses as they're cheaper than the AcuVue ones and they seem to do them at quite significant strengths (I'm -7 in one eye, -6 in the other).

Lizzylou · 08/04/2009 07:27

Really Snorks? I shopped around for mine (Boots/Tesco and Asda) and the price was the same, I think I'd better get off to Specsavers...

i swim in mine but i recommend wearing goggles if your eyes are sensitive - makes a world of difference.

lottiebunny · 08/04/2009 14:30

I would recommend goggles. Whenever I've worn contacts for swimming, at least one would fall out. My optician said that swimming in contacts without goggles is a bad idea and makes it more likely you'll get an infection.

Ask your optician about suitability when you get them fitted.
