Removing a Mooncup

I've just bought a Mooncup & am having problems removing it. It doesn't move & I end up pulling it out with an alarming noise. If I have to remove it like that with a heavy flow I'm scared there's going to be blood everywhere. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yes, definitely need to break the suction. A couple of times mine has disappeared up into the wide blue yonder so I've had to give birth to it! Funny thing is, I wish I'd known about them before I had DD as fanjo muscles and pushing make so much more sense now.

I had some trouble getting mine out at first, and had to run my finger all the way up the side of it to break the suction. Now I've got the hang of it it's fine though. I find it sits comfortably lower down than a tampon would, and I give it a good squeeze as I pull it out. You can often hear the pop as the suction breaks when you squeeze it.

MrsPickles - I'm trying to squeeze it but can't seem to get hold of it properly.

SchlebMNer - I think I would have had trouble with the idea of pushing it out before having ds.

Thanks for the help. I guess it's just a matter of practice. I can't use tampons & hate pads so I'm determined to get the hang of it.
