Has anyone used one of these with any success? Ive had a rubbish pelvic floor for ages and tried the weighted cones which I didn't get on with. Would be interested to hear which (if any) are any good! TIA

Ooooh yes I would like to know this too please because I got a shock the other day when I read that just because you don't wet yourself when exercising/sneezing etc doesn't mean your pelvic floor is good

I have never suffered as a result of having 5 DC in 8 years so thought mine was good until I read an article in my GP surgery and now (being newly single ) i need to have them in tip top condition!

Surely someone knows?

Missed this...

I have one. Used for about 3 months, every night for about 30 mins.

It works, you need to put it on a setting that is actually feel uncomfortable.

ooooh errr!

not sure I like the sound of that!

I've just got a pelvic floor educator for £8 so will see how I go with that for a bit! It's very low-tech but doesn't hurt a bit!

I have one, can't remember the make. Yes it helps but I don't use it often enough at all now

MarmadukeScarlet · 20/04/2009 18:34

There was a bit on street DR/Embarrasing illnesses on C4 t'other week (tis amazing what I will watch when ironing!)

The electronic one made the same diff as the weighted cones, but the scary looking squeeze together thingy (like bizarre hair straighteners) didn't score so highly - obv we don't know how often the women did the exercises.

amidaiwish · 20/04/2009 18:43

i have this one here and it did make a difference. need to use it more though...
