I am sorry.

What an awful situation

Caz10 · 11/03/2009 20:27

So sorry to hear this. Just wanted to say that I know 2 people, one of them a child, who have had this, been operated on, and are fit and well now. Good luck over the coming months.

ConnorTraceptive · 11/03/2009 20:30

How awful, but would also like to add that I know someone who depite going undiagnosed for some time has now made a long but full recovery.

JumpingDizzy · 11/03/2009 20:30

So sorry to hear this A good friend of mine has tumours in her brain but is in oz so I can't support her much. I ring her though. Her son is 15 and all her family are over here.

That's great news Caz10, let's pray Aimsmum's friend can get the same results.

God, really sorry to hear that...
Looking on the bright side, a friend had a brain tumor in his teens, he recovered really well, with no long lasting damage as far as I know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My dear friend had a huge barin tumour; I've never been so frightened. It was benign, they removed it in a successful 9-hour op, and she was back at the gym in a year.

Medicine now is amazing- a brain tumour sounds horrifying, but I'm amazed at my friend's swift recovery. Ok, a year maybe not so swift, but you know what I mean.

Best wishes to you and your friend.

My husband had this several years ago and is fine now. He will always be dependant on drugs but can live a normal life. Fingers crossed for you.

I am so sorry. That news is so scary. I wish your friend the very best. xx
