ANyone else had this?
I have always been clumsy but recently noticed I hae been dropping things moreoften.
For instance i picked a milk carton out of the fridge and it fell through my hand.
I have pins and needles/ numbness to the outside of one arm , in my little and ring finger (right arm)
I am also geting numbness and pins and needles around my top lip.
I will go to the doctor, but jsut some ideas of wht it could be?

Deficiency of various B vitamins can cause tingling, clumsiness type symptoms.

Get them to check your calcium levels, thyroid and parathyroid hormones as well.

When does this happen? Are you cold? Hungry? Have you just stood up suddenly?

I've had exactly this a few times (I could feel it spread up my arm and into my mouth, where it felt like I'd been given an anaesthetic - very strange), and for me it seemed to be hormone-related. The first time was when I started the pill, and made me decide to use other methods. The only other times I have had this were when pregnant (with both kids); in fact it was something that prompted me to take a pregnancy test, despite being pretty certain that I couldn't be pregnant (nothing to suggest normal precautions had failed, etc) only to find that we were indeed expecting DC2! A couple of times it developed into a migraine. I saw my gp about it and he thought it was most likely just migraine (i.e. nothing more sinister) - apparently some women develop migraines while pregnant, while some migraine sufferers have a break from symptoms while pregnant. I was offered a scan at the hospital if I was anxious about it, but decided not to take it up. Last episode was about a year ago; had DC2 in May and haven't had those symptoms since her birth. HTH.

Thanks
Happens randomly as far as I can tell although may be worse PMT?
No particular time of day.
Alu - does feel like anaesthetic, like the tingly feeling after esp around mouth.
Will go check it out.

I'd be interested to hear what your gp says. Hope they don't think it's anything to worry about.
