I feel like a real pain on here but only place i get proper answers iykwim.

I have had fast heart rate for about 2 years now and having loads of tests. However yesterday took myself off to A&E as started having mild chest pains, but left sided. I had ecg which the doctor said was showing "irregular heart beats going from 130 and droppping to 95". She didnt really explain what this could be and if it was linked to the pain or not. Told me to take paracetol for pain, took some bloods and sent me home
Im due to see cardilogist on thursday anyways. Im still gettin the pain and dont know if im meant to just carry on or go back. The pain isnt worse but my head is pounding and has been since yesterday. Do arrhythmias cause pain? Im off to go some food in for dinner so dont panic if i dont answer! TIA

if you phoned NHS direct, complaining of chest pain they would def advise you to go back. This is obv worrying you and if you are getting pain, you would be very well justified in going back to get it checked out. Your doc def should have explained things better and, whilst I can't tell you what your pain would be, if you turned up in a&e and I saw you there's no way I would think you were time wasting. If they sent you home, you prob are ok but don't hesitate to get it checked if you are worried
