Would putting it in the freezer kill any bacteria on it?? Its Dior mascara, Dior foundation and the such like and I really can't afford to just nip out and replace it all!!!!!

Putting microbes in the freezer is a fantastic way to accelerate their growth when you take them out again.

Well presumably you haven't used it today - did you have any symptoms yesterday?

oh cr@p shows what I know!!! Thats a nightmare then..... is there anyway of killing any bacteria? Will it just continue to grow and multiply on any makeup that my eye has touched?

I do wipe the foundation over my eyes though, maybe that can be salvaged though, I had no symptoms yesterday but have just looked on net it said the bacteria is present for 3 days before symptoms show? I can't use anything today and havent done, as my eyes are too manky & sore x

It should be preserved against normal things. That doesn't mean it can put up with being challenged by human pathogens.

I don't think you will ever get proper advice to hang onto contaminated eye makeup, tbh.

Powders are quite hard to preserve easily. I would be very hesitant to use it, tbh.

I think you have to ditch them, I'm afraid. They're breeding grounds for bacteria, and you'd just kick yourself if you kept them and re-infected yourself. Sorry.
